At the time this logo was created, Spaceworks was a new and unique collaboration between the City of Tacoma and many property owners to help pair empty storefronts with small businesses and artists. Jp was brought in to develop a brand identity and logo treatment. As a new and unique program for the City, Spaceworks was a work in progress. The logo reflected this spirit of exploration and openness to new ideas–both in the program as well as the small businesses starting to take the next step in their growth.
